Have you been wanting to try some new, eye-catching frames? Glasses are a great way to accessorize and show off your personality.

That’s where OGI Eyewear comes in. The brand offers fun frames for every mood in its new 2026 collection. You may just want to order more than one pair!

Let’s take a look at some favorites from this new collection.

The OGI Eyewear Story

OGI Eyewear was founded in the late ’90s by Minnesota optician David Spencer. Spencer ran an eyewear store called Specs. His clients always asked him for recommendations for eyewear that was affordable, functional, and stylish.

This inspired Spencer to design his own eyewear line. He launched his first collection at Vision Expo in 1997. The brand grew from there.

The name came from Spencer’s son, Braden. As a baby, Braden would say “Ogi ogi ogi” to get his parents to sing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.” And it makes sense that the brand’s name came from such personal origins. In the early years, OGI Eyewear was truly a one-man operation and a passion project.

Today, OGI Eyewear is part of the Optical Foundry, which is a collective of nine independent eyewear brands. OGI Eyewear blends bold, intentional design with premium Japanese craftsmanship. One of their core goals is to empower people to show their true colors through fashionable eyewear.

How Is the New OGI Line Different?

OGI Eyewear’s creative director, David Duralde, created the spring 2026 line to explore colors and proportions in new, bold ways.

“With this collection, we wanted to create frames that feel expressive without feeling forced,” says Duralde. “Pieces that give people permission to show personality in a way that still feels effortless. At the same time, we’re thinking about our partners. Through The Optical Foundry, we’re not just delivering product, we’re helping independent practices build a point of view their patients can’t find anywhere else.”

OGI also wants its new line to impart a simple message for young adults starting their careers and lives: growing up never has to mean getting old.

The New Collection

Curious about what OGI glasses are available? Let’s look through some of the fun eyewear in the new OGI Eyewear collection.

Swarm

The cat-eye look is popular right now, and the Swarm frame combines this style with eye-catching colors, including red and beige. The subtle arch over the lenses draws attention to the eyes. The wide bridge makes the frames more comfortable.

Blanding Turtle

If warm tones aren’t right for you, the Blanding Turtle could be a good choice. The frames feature cooler tones of gray and green with a mild cat-eye shape, a matte finish, and thicker rims.
