So, you’ve seen some incredible deals on EZContacts.com, but you’re wondering about the warranty. What if your eyewear arrives faulty, or breaks, or you want to make an exchange?
Don’t stress; this post will help you understand how everything works so you can feel confident in your consumer choices!
What Is the EZContacts Warranty?
We’re confident you’ll love your new eyewear. How do we know? We’ve been around for decades and have received thousands of honest reviews!
Experience has taught us that things can sometimes go wrong, so we’ve developed an excellent return policy. It applies to all products, as long as the terms and conditions are met.
In short, you can get a refund or exchange your item within 30 days of delivery. There are also options beyond that period. More details can be found below.
Returns or Exchanges on Contact Lenses
So, you ordered a pair of contact lenses you’ve never tried before, and you’re worried: what if they don’t feel right, or make your eyes dry? That’s why EZContacts makes it easy and fast to return contacts.

Returning Contact Lenses
If you return your contact lenses within 30 days (of delivery), you’ll get 100% of the purchase price back! There’s no restocking fee, but you should note that the original shipping cost will not be reimbursed.
Your refund will be applied to the original payment method. So, be sure to pay with a card that can accept return credits.
Exchanging Contact Lenses
You can exchange your contact lenses for free within 30 days! You can still exchange the product after 30 days, but there is a $3 (per box) restocking fee.
Note: The expiration date must be at least two years from the date of your exchange. As mentioned earlier, the box should be in perfect condition and unopened.
Returns or Exchanges on Eyeglasses and Sunglasses

A very similar policy applies to glasses. You can return them within 30 days of delivery. The golden rule is to ensure they’re in the original packaging with the case, cloth, warranty cards/authenticity papers, and any other inserts included with the original shipment.
Returning Eyeglasses or Sunglasses
We offer a money-back guarantee on frames with prescription, custom, or non-prescription (demo/plano) lenses. Just return your order within 30 days of delivery in its original packaging.
There’s no restocking fee for non-prescription glasses and sunglasses. However, there is a $25 restocking fee for glasses with prescription or custom lenses.
Also, note that Ray-Ban and Oakley Meta smart glasses are non-returnable. All sales for Ray-Ban Meta products are final. They’re not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
Exchanging Glasses or Shades
If you want to exchange your eyewear, it should be sent with its original box, inserts, and warranty card within 30 days of delivery. Once received, you should receive a full credit for the purchase price, less a $25 restocking fee for prescription lenses.
Use your credit to purchase any pair you prefer!
Returns or Exchanges on Defective Items
Please inform us of any defects within 24 hours of delivery. If your items are faulty in any way, you’re covered by the EZContacts warranty for 30 days from receipt.
We will then send you a prepaid shipping label without hassle. Once the item has been safely returned to our warehouse, we will issue a refund for the purchase price.

Manufacturer’s Warranty
Beyond 30 days from delivery, when your eyewear is no longer covered by the EZContacts warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty applies.
A manufacturer’s warranty guarantees that your product will function and perform to standards. It’s an assurance that the manufacturer stands behind the quality of the product.
In the rare case of a faulty product, it can be repaired or replaced in most circumstances. The length of the warranty and the specific details can vary from product to product.
Each product comes with a warranty card, which will tell you the warranty details, so you should keep it safe!
If you find that your product is faulty after the 30-day return period, double-check your warranty card to see how to contact the manufacturer and start the process.
It’s worth noting that if you break, lose, or wear down your eyewear, it usually isn’t covered by the EZContacts warranty or the manufacturer’s warranty.
The good news is that since we sell high-quality products and manufacturers’ faults are rare, you likely won’t need to go through the process.
If you take care of your eyewear, it can last for years!
Why EZContacts Doesn’t Have Physical Stores to Return Products
EZContacts is an online eyewear retailer. We don’t have any physical stores, but we ship across the United States for free (see t&cs).
Having physical stores entails significant overhead, from rising rent to bills to maintenance, which means these costs are added to products and passed on to customers.
Instead, we keep costs low by operating exclusively online. That means we are making huge savings and passing them on to our customers. That’s why you’ll see designer frames and premium contact lenses for discounted prices. And yes, EZContacts is legit.
We can offer the same products you find in stores at a lower price because we operate online, making it a win-win for our customers.
Just because we don’t have physical stores doesn’t mean returns and exchanges aren’t easy. If you don’t know which process is best for you, if your product is faulty, or if you need extra advice, contact our customer service team. They’re only a phone call or email away, so we’re even saving you the effort (and fuel) of driving to return to the store!
Feel Confident in Your Decision
If you want to avoid having to return items, here are a couple of tips to help you feel more confident in your purchasing decision.
Order a Test Box for Contact Lenses
If you’re switching contact lens brands, then it’s best to get advice from your doctor. You can do this when you get fitted for your lenses.
When you place your order for a new brand or product you haven’t tried before, it’s wise to order one box and test it. If it’s not right for you, then at least you don’t have the hassle of returning several (unopened) boxes or potentially missing the return date.
Try on Glasses Virtually
If you are concerned about ordering glasses that won’t suit you, try the Fittingbox app, available on the EZContacts website. You can upload a picture of yourself or test the feature using a live snapshot of you.
Alternatively, you could try the glasses on in-store and then buy them online at a lower price from EZContacts. If you change your mind within 30 days, simply return the glasses. If you find a fault (which is rare), it is covered by the EZContacts warranty.
FAQs About EZContacts Warranty and More
Does EZContacts get in touch with the manufacturer?
If your product is faulty and outside the 30-day EZContacts warranty, you will need to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer’s information should be on the warranty card that comes with your product.
Are product faults common?
Product faults are not common because contact lenses and glasses are trialed and tested before hitting the market. The companies that EZContacts supplies are some of the leading manufacturers for contact lenses and eyeglasses, including Alcon, Bausch & Lomb, and EssilorLuxottica.
Does EZContacts cover the cost of returns?
If your product is faulty and within the 30-day window, get in touch with the EZContacts team to request a return shipping label. However, if you decide you want to return your item because it doesn’t suit you or you don’t like the style or fit, you will have to cover the cost of returning the product.
Can I return opened contact lenses?
For hygiene reasons, we don’t accept returns or exchanges for opened contact lens boxes. If you realize you ordered the wrong box, then simply return the item or request an exchange. However, if you realize the product is faulty, then get in touch with the customer service team.
Customer Reviews on Returning
Sometimes, you just change your mind, and once your glasses come, you realize they don’t suit your style or face. That’s okay, that’s what returns and exchanges are for!
Take it from Cristina, who had a change of heart with her Miu Miu glasses:

30+ probably not for us
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Such cute glasses and comfortable. But If you’re over 30-35+ I would not buy these. I have sunglasses in 2 colors and I LOVE THEM. So-I figured the eyeglasses would be great too. No. I looked like i was trying too hard wayy to be a Gen Z-er. IMHO – 30-35+ we don’t need these ??I amam exchanging them.”
Robert ordered his Oakley glasses only to realize they felt uncomfortable on his face, but this was no problem:
“First, I have to thank EZContacts for having great service. I originally ordered the Oakley Metalink glasses and found them very uncomfortable. When I contacted EZContacts, it was no problem – they sent me a form to exchange them without any hassle. Their customer service is excellent!”
Alexa bought a pair of Gucci glasses, and she quickly realized how much money she had saved by switching over to EZContacts. That’s why it’s always worth price-matching and buying online after you try on in person:
“I was tired off paying thousands on optical stores and getting bad services. When I placed my order here I was scared to be scammed but they really surprised me. I love my glasses and from now on I would never return to any optical store.”
Peace of Mind With the EZContacts Warranty
We are retailers of some of the top eyewear brands on the market, so we trust that our products meet industry standards. But with the EZContacts warranty, you can rest assured that you can return or exchange your item or get a replacement.
And it’s really that simple!
TL;DR
- EZContacts’ warranty gives you peace of mind by covering faulty products within the first 30 days.
- Try on your glasses virtually to see if you like the style. And if it’s your first time trying new contact lenses, order one box instead of several to see how they fit and feel.
- If your product is damaged or faulty through no fault of your own after the initial 30-day period, then double-check the manufacturer’s warranty.
- You will find the manufacturer’s warranty inside the packaging, so keep it safe!
- For replacements or returns of faulty items, contact the EZContacts customer service team.
- If you want to return contact lenses, the box should be unopened for hygiene reasons.
- If you’ve changed your mind or your glasses don’t fit properly, you can return or exchange them, though you will need to cover the return cost. Glasses with prescription lenses will also have a $25 restocking fee.
- Faulty products are rare, as EZContacts supplies eyewear manufactured by some of the biggest companies around, including Alcon, Bausch & Lomb, and EssilorLuxottica.
