Did you know EZContacts.com is a total rebrand with a complete website upgrade? Like all major online stores, getting a streamlined look and a sleek and easy-to-use site has been a journey.

Since we’ve been a specialized online eyewear retailer for over twenty years, we thought we’d share some of our story, including updates that reflect our commitment to providing an excellent customer experience.

So, let’s dive into the major changes we’ve made going from EZContactsUSA.com to the newly branded and cutting-edge EZContacts.com website you see today!

How We Started: EZContactsUSA.com

We’ve been going for over 2 decades; as you can imagine, it’s been a journey of improvements and innovation. After all, technology has come so far since we debuted our first website.

Do you even remember what websites looked like in the early 2000s? There were no glamorous images, easy-to-scroll layouts, or navigable designs. They were much chunkier, with unclear headers. Want to find the checkout button? Good luck!

We were ahead of the crowd before online shopping became the phenomenon it is today. But we started out with a simpler version of the live EZContacts site you see today.

Our new site was kind of a big deal in the e-commerce space because most online stores run on Shopify, but we don’t.

Instead, we developed our own fully responsive website with improved product pages, faster checkout, smoother filters, and much more.

Brand Overhaul

Our first website, EZContactsUSA.com, featured simple green branding and was more practical than stylish. When we switched to the new website, we also recreated the EZContacts logo and swapped out green for a vibrant red brand color.

Customers were already calling us EZContacts, so we officially shortened the name, dropping the “USA” from EZContactsUSA.com. It’s catchier! And we wanted to keep it simple with a short, fun name.

Out With The Old and In With the New

Engine upgrade.

The back end of websites has also come a long way; now, EZContacts is faster and smoother than ever, improving the shopping experience.

Our engine can now handle mass inventory and thousands of products. What’s in stock and any current discounts are automatically updated.

New Fitting Box feature.

Our latest upgrade includes the cutting-edge Fittingbox app, which allows you to try on glasses virtually! It takes a live photo of you (or you can upload an image), so you can try on thousands of products.

Our new site is also equipped to handle these new features, making the shopping experience smoother.

Since we’ve been around for a while, we’ve kept up with the shift of online shopping to be more convenient than going to the store. With that in mind, we’ve improved your ability to imagine what you’d look like in your order without leaving your couch!

Easy reorder system.

The previous EZContactsUSA.com site wasn’t cut out to meet the growing demand. We always had a broad range of products, but we realized that customers needing prescription contact lenses deserved a simple solution for an ongoing supply.

Our new EZContacts site has an effortless opt-in subscription service. You can select a 6-month or 1-year supply of contact lenses and receive 10% off. Now, our customers don’t need to fear running out of their prescriptions.

Bigger and better discounts.

With limited functions, our previous EZContactsUSA.com site couldn’t handle new apps and features, which is one of the biggest reasons we knew that EZContactsUSA.com was ready for a major overhaul.

We operate online to cut the costs of having overpriced store rent in locations across the country. We decided to avoid all the rising overheads of having physical locations to pass the savings back to our customers. And with our new site, that’s exactly what we’re doing!

New points system for our customers.

We currently offer free delivery across the US, constant discounts on the latest designer eyewear, and even a points system to reward our loyal repeat customers. For every $2 spent, you get 1 EZ point, and 250 points mean a $25 voucher, which you can use towards a future purchase.

Our points system is especially great for contact lens users who shop with us consistently. Since our ethos is about making quality eyewear affordable for everyone, we added the points system to the new website to help you save big while shopping online.

EZContacts.com allows you to enjoy shopping without hassle, waiting in long lines, or being disappointed that the eyewear you drove out to see is no longer available.

We’ve always prided ourselves on having excellent customer service, as seen in our old EZContactsUSA.com site reviews.
